VesselBid is an associated company of Netbid Industrie-Auktionen AG, Hamburg (NetBid). NetBidis one of the leading online auction houses. Every day, NetBid's online marketplace www.netbid.com hosts sales and auctions of used machines and equipment. Due to our constant interest in expansion and customer adaptation, we have established VesselBid which will allow us to offer our services, knowledge and sales capabilities to a broader spectrum of clients throughout various industries; specifically now within the Maritime sector. For VesselBid, NetBid has teamed up with a leading German maritime lawyer and a S&P Broker. The idea is to offer transparent selling and pricing for sellers and buyers when selling vessels.

Our maritime specialists are in close dialog with selected industry players in order to offer exclusive second hand vessels for sale and auction that predominantly arise due to bankruptcies or financial difficulties of vessels; we also welcome any direct sellers of vessels to approach us and use our expertise. Our focus is on the sale and auctioning of vessels that operate within the most commonly known commercial segments i.e. Container, Bulker, Tanker and General Cargo/Multi-Purpose vessels.
